Tis the Season
Family time! Last night Annie, Kian and I braved the snow and trecherous roads and headed up the hill to Snoqualmie to hang out with Aunts, Uncles and cousins: Kians Auntie, Duncle and cousins.
We had a big spread of appetizers -- crab cakes, fondue, hummas and mini tacos (wine and manhatten's too) -- and played a game of Scrabble in which Reid killed us all with those deadly Triple Word squares. Kian was passed.
Reid shows Kian how to play with his monkey.
"So Kian, how do you like Christmas?"
Like it: more stuff!
Brent was making a late Hardware run because a water pipe had burst and flooded their garage, but the damage wasn't as bad as it could have been and dinner was enjoyed by all, more deliciousness cooked up by Joanie. More Kian was passed.
Kian exacts his revenge on Bruncle for not yet changing a diaper.
I like this couch thing, why don't we have one, Daddy?

After dinner we were made to open our presents, or else, even though we hadn't brought ours for them, and we were bigtime spoiled, especially Kian, and he wasn't complaining. Lots of new single piece duds, more warm clothes and stuff to grow into. Annie and I were lavashed with cooking and eating gear and some clothes too. Thanks you guys!
Wish we were spending Christmas together this year, and that goes out to all our family from all over the map! Next year!

Skiin Kian
Opening day at the Stevens Pass Nordic Center! It was an Extra Blue day with a high temp of 6-degrees, brrrrr!
Kian loving the pulk! Okay, not really, but only because
it was too cold for the wee one.

Passed Around Arizona
You take him. No,that's okay, you take him.
Here, why don't you take him. Thanks, but you go ahead and take him.

Grandma Reid's been practicing with the baby in the background, but it didn't train her to deal with the spitting and squacking. But it doesn't smile and oogle as well either.
Grandpa Francis meets Kian for the first time and can't get enough:
they are coming to visit for Christmas!
