Christmas Days

It was our final opportunity to hit the downtown Christmas festivities and at 730 in the p.m. Kian said that he was "all in".  Okay little buddy, lets do it!  We busted downtown, found the perfect parking spot, and we were at Nordies Santa Lane just in time... d'oh!  It closed at 830 and not 930, noooo!  But Santa walked out the double-doors just then and stopped just for Kiki.

I've got the video, I will post it, this is classic!  Nordstom Santaland is known for having "culturally diverse" Santa's and this Santa was especially special.

And then we hopped aboard the Christmas Carousel, a sort of Seattle institution.

Christmas Eve at Jim & Nancy's with the Lutz crew.

Then Christmas Day at the Lutz's in Snoqualmie. Thanks for all the great stuff,
the great food, but most especially the great times!

Christmas Time

Its not much but its something.

Same could be said for our little tree: its spartan but loved.
(Sacrificed from a Chiwawa forest)

We had a fireplace installed since we had stockings and needed a way for Santa to get in.

Zoo Lights Night @ Woodland Park!

 Cookie Night!

The Kiki Cave.

Out-and-About and trying to channel the spirit of Xmas.

We even had some snow in Seattle, yeehaw!

 Waiting patiently (sometimes) for Santa.

And we're looking forward to Christmas in Snoqualmie this year!

Veterans Day Buzzcuts

Perhaps we're starting a new tradition!!

First you take a long haired hippy boy and sit him down in the tub.

After round 1 with the clippers we've got a slight bowlcut going.  Nope, not happy.

Trimmed up the top with scissors but still not pleased... he wanted the full No 2 clipper cut.

That's it, now we're talking buzzcut!

Kian talked Daddy into a partial buzz but I stuck to a No 4 on the sides.

Parting shot: Outside the RV after yesterday race: both of us in our team jerseys.
